How To Get Here

Our cross-street is Ontario St. and West Broadway. The number 9 westbound bus on Broadway stops right in front of our store. The number 99 B-Line express bus stops at Main and Broadway, so we're only 3 blocks west from that bus stop. If you follow these instructions and end up staring at a boarded up shop, turn left and walk to the next block. You were at 17 East Broadway, and just a block away is 17 WEST Broadway. About Us
SCRAPE Records opened its doors on November 1, 1997, and has never looked back since. Proud to be the only metal and hard rock specialty store in the Pacific northwest, SCRAPE Records quickly became known as THE place to visit for metal pilgrims from all over the world. An online presence was established in 1998, and the store's reputation grew stronger. Visiting bands often hold in-store signings at SCRAPE Records, and we've had more than our share of visits from metal and non-metal celebrities. Some highlights over the years include:
- In-store signings by Strapping Young Lad, Arch Enemy, In Flames, Cradle of Filth, Cannibal Corpse, Meshuggah, Cryptopsy, Soilwork, and more
- Releasing a compilation of Vancouver metal and hard rock bands, garnering world-wide attention for some our city's finest acts
